Avalanche risk, provincial roads 345 at Campolaro and 669 (at Gaver) closed due to snow

Bienno. The provincial administration of Brescia informs that following the analysis of the nivologist appointed by the Province and in view of the worsening of the weather conditions expected for the next few hours, it is necessary to close due to avalanche risk (level 4) from 6 p.m. of this Sunday and until a date to be defined the provincial road 345 “delle Tre Valli” from Campolaro and from 8 a.m. of Monday, 26 February, the provincial road 669 in the stretch Valle Dorizzo-Gaver.
The weather situation is constantly changing, always negative with continuous rainfall in a thermal context that is still wintry, which does not facilitate the consolidation of the surface and slows down the reclamation of the slopes.
The new precipitation expected on Monday, with up to 50 cm of fresh snow, could trigger various avalanche phenomena, potentially of large dimensions, especially if the new snow accumulates without draining the slopes during the precipitation.
