Cembre grows in 2023; profit reaches 39.6 million

The Shareholders’ Meeting of Cembre S.p.A., a company listed on the MTA, STAR segment, one of the leading European manufacturers of electrical connectors and tools for their installation, held under the chairmanship of Giovanni Rosani, resolved the approval of the 2023 Financial Statements of Cembre S.p.A. and the allocation of the net profit for the year.
The Shareholders’ Meeting resolved to distribute a dividend of €1.80 per share gross of withholding taxes (the dividend on 2022 earnings had been €1.40 per share). The ex-dividend date for coupon number 27 is 13 May 2024, the entitlement date for the payment of dividends (record date) is 14 May 2024, while payment is set to start on 15 May 2024.
The Parent Company Cembre S.p.A. generated sales revenue of €173.1 million in FY2023, up 15.7 per cent compared to FY2022. Operating profit increased by 38.0 per cent from EUR 34.6 million in 2022 to EUR 47.8 million in 2023. Pre-tax profit increased by 33.8 per cent from EUR 38.2 million in 2022 to EUR 51.1 million in 2023. Cembre’s net profit increased from EUR 29.1 million in 2022 to EUR 39.6 million in 2023.
